Ad News 9/4/12

The New York Times recently released an article detailing Subway's new Web series on Hulu. The series titled, The 4 to 9ers revolves around Mark, who is a high school student working at a Subway shop in a local mall. The 6-episode series debuts a new episode every Tuesday, with two episodes released thus far.
Subway has sponsored other webisodes before but none as polished as this. According to Subway Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer, Tony Pace "Marketers need to be doing things like '4 to 9ers' because such sponsored content is the next manifestation of the brand entertainment trend.

Questions:

1. Have you seen other brands promoting themselves through Web series?
2. Do you agree with the SVP that webisodes are the next big thing in brand entertainment?
3. Do you think high school students will actually watch the series?
