Introduction

Hello! My name is Jennifer Kim, but I go by Jenny. I am currently a junior in Advertising with a minor in Communication. Over the course of the three years, I tried my best to get my hand in every jar and really utilize the resources this campus has to offer— I played on the Womens' Lacrosse Team, published articles at The Daily Illini, interned for Roland Realty, participated in AAF & NSAC, and plugged into a church.

This past summer, I was fortunate to intern at a Chicago ad agency, Downtown Partners. My role was the Account Management Intern; and my responsibilities included creating and presenting RFP decks, managing relations between Media and Creative, and creating timelines. Rubbing shoulders with such brilliant and passionate people for those three months was a great experience. It also increased my interest to pursue the ad industry. I'm still unsure of where I see myself because the industry offers so much, but I am especially interested in the digital landscape, brand strategy, and account management.

As of right now, I'm just eager to learn and expose myself to everything that is advertising.
