Hello! My name is Rebecca Pierce. I go by Rebecca or
Becca, whichever you prefer. I am a senior majoring in Advertising pursuing a
minor in Anthropology. This summer I took a philosophy course at a junior college near me. I was also a Sales Intern at Des Plaines Office Equipment,
which was a great learning experience! After my graduation from the University
of Illinois this May, I am looking forward to working in an advertising related
position. I am still really open to what specifically I want to do with
advertising. I can see myself working on the account side of an agency, as well
as doing marketing, advertising or sales on the client side. I love to write,
so I am also interested in looking at a career in public relations and
journalism. My personal interests are broad. I am a media junkie. I can’t get
enough of music, television (recently started watching Downton Abbey and I’m
obsessed!), and film. When I have the time, I also really enjoy reading (mostly
fiction). Some of my other interests include: running outside, trying new and
different cuisine, going dancing with friends and family, and watching men’s
NCAA basketball (March Madness is my favorite).
